What is Dabhosa’s call to fame? It is the highest waterfall in the state. The thick stream of water falls from a height of 300 feet creating a huge roaring noise. Remember one thing. Dabhosa isn’t really that impressive in the other seasons, because there is hardly much water then. But if it’s the monsoon, then the place to be is here. You are sure to be impressed with the sight in front of you.

It is located on the Jawhar-Silvassa Road, just 18 kilometers from Jawhar. Reach the flat summit close to Dabhosa, and you will be able to get a great view. Look all around. You will be impressed with the serene surroundings and the dense trees that complete the ambience. It is a great place for fishing, trekking, kayaking and even trying the Zip Line, which incidentally is available at very few places in India. This is reason enough to visit the Dabhosa.

How to reach: There are many ways to reach the waterfalls. You can take a bus or train. Some people even drive their car or bike to reach the place. If you are staying in one of the hotels or resorts nearby, then the people there will provide you with a car as well that will take you to the waterfalls.
